Job Description

• Security engineer specialized in force entry and blast-resistant doors.
• Security features such as wedge barriers, arm barriers, fences, and the impact rating of vehicles' speed. Etc
• Experience with an international organization, Embassy, is an advantage

Requirements
Core Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (usually in one of the following):

• Mechanical Engineering
• Civil/Structural Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Security Engineering / Security Technology
• Materials Engineering

MSc / MEng (optional but highly valued) in:

• Structural Engineering (with focus on blast/impact)
• Protective Design / Security Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering (strength of materials, impact dynamics)
• Technical & Professional Certifications.

While not always mandatory, they significantly strengthen a candidate’s profile:

• Security & Protective Design
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP) – ASIS International
• Physical Security Professional (PSP) – ASIS International
• Anti-Terrorism Level II/III – if working with defense or government
• Blast Analysis / Protective Design Certifications (e.g., from USACE, DoD, Dstl)
• Engineering Certifications
• Professional Engineer (PE) / Chartered Engineer (CEng) (depending on country)
• AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Revit proficiency certification
• Technical Expertise Needed
• Forced-entry and blast-resistant design
• Knowledge of FE/BR (Forced Entry & Ballistic Resistance) standards
• Understanding of UFC, ASTM, ISO, and EN standards:
