Job Title: Female Outfit Tailor (Specializing in Bespoke & Ready-to-Wear)

The Role

• We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Female Outfit Tailor to create stunning women's wear for our clients.
• You will be responsible for constructing bespoke dresses, skirts, blouses, traditional outfits, and ready-to-wear pieces that embody grace, sophistication, and flawless fit.
• This role requires a blend of technical skill, creativity, and a deep understanding of female form and fashion.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct high-quality female garments from design concepts, patterns, and client measurements, including formal wear, casual wear, and traditional attire.
• Conduct fittings and execute precise alterations to ensure optimal fit, comfort, and style.
• Skillfully handle delicate and diverse fabrics such as silk, lace, chiffon, aso-oke, and sequined materials.
• Operate industrial sewing machines, sergers, and specialty pressing equipment with expertise.
• Collaborate with designers on fabric selection, embellishments, and finishing details and the communications team to create content for publishing on various social media handles
• Maintain an organized and efficient workspace, ensuring tools and materials are well-kept and keeping accurate records of customer orders and measurement.
• Adhere to production timelines and quality standards for both bespoke and ready-to-wear collections.
• Stay updated on womenswear trends, tailoring techniques, and fabric innovations.
• Maintain quality control throughout the construction process, ensuring every piece meets standards.

Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills)

• 4-6 years of professional experience in womenswear tailoring, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in both bespoke and ready-to-wear.
• Mastery of female garment construction, including draping, pattern making, sewing, and finishing techniques.
• Experience working with a wide range of fabrics and an understanding of how different materials behave.
• Keen eye for detail, especially in fitting, dart placement, hemming, and delicate finishes.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a studio setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for creating garments that make clients feel confident and beautiful.
• Training in fashion design or tailoring is an advantage.
