Job Title: In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) Officer

Location: Mowe / Ibafo, Ogun

Description

  • A reputable agro-allied company involved in the processing of agricultural produce is currently seeking to employ a qualified In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) Officer to support its quality assurance operations.

Job Summary

  • The IPQC Officer will be responsible for monitoring and controlling product quality during the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards, food safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor in-process quality parameters at various stages of production.
  • Conduct routine inspections, sampling, and quality checks on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with established quality standards, SOPs, and GMP requirements.
  • Identify quality deviations and promptly report non-conformances.
  • Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) implementation.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, logs, and inspection reports.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure continuous quality improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Sc./HND in Food Science & Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in a similar IPQC or quality control role, preferably in an agro-processing or FMCG environment.
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards is an added advantage.

  • Good documentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in a factory/shift environment.

Salary & Benefits

  • Monthly Salary: N250,000
  • Benefits:
    • Health Maintenance Organization (HMO)
