Job Summary

• An IT Hardware & Network Engineerdesigns, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots an organization's network infrastructure, focusing on routers, switches, firewalls, and security, ensuring reliable connectivity, performance, and data integrity, requiring skills in TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, security protocols, and hardware repair.

Responsibilities

• Design & Implementation: Configuring, installing, and testing network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points) and software.
• Maintenance & Support: Troubleshooting complex network/hardware issues, replacing components, monitoring performance, and providing technical support.
• Security: Implementing and maintaining network security measures, virus protection, and access controls.
• Documentation: Documenting system configurations, network maps, and procedures.
• Collaboration: Working with other IT professionals, project managers, and leadership to meet business needs.
• Upgrades: Staying current and managing upgrades for hardware, software, and security systems.

Requirements & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in hardware/network engineering.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP,LAN/WAN,routing,switching,firewalls.
• Proficiency inhardware troubleshooting&repair.
• Understanding ofnetwork security practices.
• Experience withoperating systems&monitoring tools.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, analytical, and project management skills.
