The News Chronicle is an Abuja-based online newspaper. Starting first as an online publication, The News Chronicle will also encourage Nigerians to strive to their own highest ideals, and to make themselves the starting point of that change they pontificate and pray about. We will, without apologies, look out for the underdogs to ensure that there is a level of justice and fairness for them in a very unjust and unfair world. This, in our opinion, is basically what journalism at its best does, everything else falls between. Job Description

• The News Chronicle, an Abuja-based online newspaper, is seeking a full-time Editor.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will be a graduate in the Social Sciences, Arts, or Humanities and have at least two years of experience as a print journalist.
• They must possess a high level of proficiency in English (both written and verbal) and have an exceptional ability to craft appealing articles free of grammatical errors.
• Candidates should also be able to work well within a team and meet deadlines in a friendly but high-pressure environment.
