Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and passionate Home Economics Teacher to deliver practical and theory-based lessons that equip students with essential life, nutrition, and home management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Home Economics in line with the approved curriculum
- Plan and deliver practical and theory lessons effectively
- Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and instructional materials
- Conduct continuous assessments, tests, and examinations
- Supervise practical sessions and ensure safety in the classroom
- Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and other external examinations
- Maintain discipline and promote good hygiene and life skills
- Participate in staff meetings and school activities
Requirements & Qualifications
- B.Sc. / B.Ed / NCE in Home Economics or related field
- Minimum of 2–3 years teaching experience
- TRCN certification is an added advantage
- Good practical skills and classroom management
- Strong communication and student engagement skills.
Salary
N120,000 per month
