As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking a results-driven Senior Area Sales Manager to strengthen our market presence and lead regional sales performance.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Area Sales Manager

Locations: Isolo, Lagos and Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • The Senior Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor relationships, and leading field sales teams across assigned territories
  • The role requires a strong understanding of FMCG route-to-market strategies and the ability to execute sales plans effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve volume and revenue targets
  • Manage and grow distributor and key customer relationships within the assigned area
  • Lead, coach, and monitor Area Sales Executives and field sales teams
  • Ensure effective product availability, visibility, and distribution across channels
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, credit control, and trade marketing standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 4–8 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG or edible oil products
  • Proven experience managing territories, distributors, and sales teams
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and relationship management skills
  • Good knowledge of route-to-market and wholesale/retail distribution
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned area.
