Job Title: Business Development Lead

Location: Jibowu Yaba, Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Business Development Lead will be responsible for driving the company’s growth agenda by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding client relationships.
  • This role requires a commercially minded leader with strong business acumen who can balance hands-on deal execution with high-level growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of business development and marketing strategies to secure new clients, partnerships, and revenue streams.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities across target industries and service areas.
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate the business development team to achieve and exceed set targets.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide growth strategy, positioning, and marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with Services and Agency Operations teams to develop tailored proposals, pitches, and campaigns.
  • Drive end-to-end client engagement from prospecting through negotiation, deal closure, onboarding, and long-term relationship management.
  • Track, analyze, and report on business development performance, conversion rates, and market insights to inform decision-making.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, networking forums, and business meetings to strengthen visibility and positioning.
  • Support senior leadership in identifying new markets, products, and service opportunities to diversify revenue streams.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, marketing or growth strategy.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and building long-term partnerships.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Track record of exceeding business development or sales targets.
  • Experience in the media, consulting, branding, or marketing industry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on deal execution.

Salary
N400,000 Monthly.
