Job Title: Accountant

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Summary

• We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our organization.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audits
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions
• Provide financial advice and support to management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality
• Good communication and organizational skills.
