Job Title: Supermarket Inventory Manager

Location: Palmgroove, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

  • The Supermarket Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing and controlling stock levels to ensure product availability, minimize losses, and support smooth supermarket operations.
  • The role requires strong attention to detail, effective coordination with suppliers and store teams, and accurate record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage daily inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
  • Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure proper documentation of stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
  • Track product expiry dates and ensure timely removal of expired or near-expiry items.
  • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for timely replenishment of stock.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to reduce shrinkage, damages, and losses.
  • Prepare periodic inventory reports and submit to management.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of goods in the store and warehouse.
  • Support audits and investigations related to stock discrepancies.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • HND/BSc in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in inventory or store management, preferably in a supermarket or retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management processes and stock control systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure.

N150,000 Monthly.
