Job Summary
- We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Finance Manager to lead our inventory finance functions.
- This role is critical to ensure the accuracy of all inventory-related financial transactions and reporting within the organization.
- You will oversee the reconciliation of inventory accounts, optimize inventory costs, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the inventory accounting processes, including inventory valuation and reporting.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure that financial statements are accurate and complete.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and operations teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Analyze inventory metrics and provide management with insights to improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement inventory finance policies and procedures in line with industry best practices.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports and analyses related to inventory to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls relating to inventory processing and reporting.
Qualifications and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification such as ACA or ACCA is highly desirable.
- 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience in finance, with a focus on inventory management.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in financial software and accounting packages, especially SAP.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Extensive knowledge of inventory accounting and finance principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High levels of integrity and ethical standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
