Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT)

Position Overview

  • We are seeking a strategic and accomplished Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and secure new opportunities across our diverse portfolio.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of experience in traditional real estate investment and a strong grasp of digital industries (fintech/e-commerce).
  • This role is pivotal for driving revenue growth, forming strategic partnerships, and navigating the regulatory landscape of multiple sectors from our Abuja base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to generate growth across real estate, REIT, fintech, and e-commerce verticals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure new investment opportunities, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and market-entry prospects.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, investors, and partners across the targeted industries.
  • Lead the end-to-end process for major deals, from initial prospecting and proposal development to negotiation and closure.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with key regulatory bodies, government agencies, and industry associations relevant to all business sectors.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
  • Prepare detailed business plans, investment memoranda, and financial models for new ventures and partnerships.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and high-level meetings to enhance brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Finance, Legal, Operations) to align strategies and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to advise on strategic direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field. An MBA or relevant Master's degree is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of verifiable business development experience, with a proven track record in both real estate/REIT and fintech/e-commerce sectors.
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIBN, CIS, NIESV, PMP) is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience in liaising with regulatory bodies relevant to the mentioned industries in Abuja.
  • Must be a resident of Abuja with an extensive local professional network.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours as required by business needs, client schedules, and deal closures.
  • Candidates must be within the age range of 35 to 45 years.
