Role Overview
- Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Supervisor to lead retail sales operations, drive revenue growth, and ensure excellent customer service across its outlets.
- The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for achieving sales targets, supervising daily store operations, leading and motivating the sales team, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and hands-on experience in retail sales supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the sales team to achieve sales targets and increase revenue
- Supervise, train, and motivate retail sales staff to ensure smooth daily operationsEnsure team members are informed about new products, pricing, and promotions
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally
- Assist with sourcing and onboarding local vendors
- Use sales tracking tools to monitor performance and generate reports
- Conduct regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management
- Coordinate bulk SMS communication to improve customer engagement
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and customer preferences
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales supervision, retail management, or a similar role
- Proven experience in customer service, sales operations, and team coordination
- Track record of managing sales performance and driving revenue growth
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems, and inventory management
- Proven ability to drive sales performance and analyze data
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask effectively
- Results-driven with high levels of professionalism and integrity
Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 / month.
