Job Title: Internal Auditor
Location: Lagos Island, Lagos

Job Summary
- The Internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes within the Food & Beverage operations.
- The role ensures compliance with company policies, financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and adherence to regulatory and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of financial records, operational processes, and inventory systems
- Review cash handling, sales reconciliation, and revenue reporting across outlets
- Audit procurement, supplier payments, and contract compliance
- Monitor stock management, wastage, shrinkage, and pilferage
- Evaluate compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements
- Assess adherence to company policies, SOPs, and operational guidelines
- Investigate discrepancies, fraud risks, and operational irregularities
- Prepare audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
- Follow up on audit observations to ensure implementation of corrective measures
- Support management with risk assessments and process improvement initiatives.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Review and strengthen internal control systems
- Ensure segregation of duties across finance and operations
- Evaluate effectiveness of POS systems, inventory controls, and reporting tools
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management:
- Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks
- Recommend mitigation strategies
- Support management in building a strong risk-aware culture.
Qualifictions
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree with 2 - 5 years experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and controls
- Excellent reporting and documentation skills
- Integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgment
- Ability to work independently and across multiple locations.
