Job Title: Inventory Analyst
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly intelligent and analytical Inventory Analyst to drive data-led inventory planning, control, and optimization.
- This role is strictly for candidates with a strong academic and practical background in Statistics or Mathematics, with the ability to translate numbers into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze inventory data to forecast demand, optimize stock levels, and reduce losses
- Track stock movement, variances, expiries, and reorder points across outlets
- Build and maintain inventory models, reports, and dashboards
- Identify trends, inefficiencies, and risks within inventory operations
- Support management with data-driven recommendations for inventory decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics (mandatory)
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with inventory or ERP systems is an advantage
- High attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets
- Previous experience in inventory analysis, supply chain, or retail/pharmacy is a plus.
