Role Overview

• We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Lead with current hands-on experience as a Regional Sales Manager in an FMCG company to drive sales growth and market expansion across the Northern region. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership to field sales teams while strengthening distributor and channel performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute regional sales strategies to achieve volume and revenue targets.
• Manage and coach area sales teams to improve productivity and performance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key trade partners.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics within the region.
• Ensure effective route-to-market execution, product availability, and merchandising standards.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review.
• Enforce compliance with company sales policies and trade standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ FMCG sales experience with current experience in a Regional Sales Manager role.
• Strong understanding of Northern Nigeria FMCG markets and distribution channels.
• Proven record of meeting and exceeding regional sales targets.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
