Job Title: Practice Manager

Location: Gbagada, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Practice Manager to oversee the administrative, operational, and managerial functions of a reputable legal firm.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the firm, supervise staff, and support lawyers in meeting deadlines while upholding the firm’s mission, vision, and core values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage all legal and administrative staff of the firm.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the law firm to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure lawyers meet deadlines and operate in line with the firm’s mission and vision.
  • Strive to achieve the firm’s administrative and business objectives.
  • Take minutes of management meetings and ensure implementation of decisions reached.
  • Supervise, maintain, and manage the firm’s IT systems, software, and facilities.
  • Maintain a comprehensive Employee Records Management System, including staff data, appraisals, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
  • Prepare and submit daily operational reports to management at the close of business.
  • Ensure full compliance with the core values and policies of the firm.
  • Promote a culture of diligence, professionalism, and excellent client care.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ managerial experience in a legal professional establishment.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent word processing and administrative skills.
  • Tactful, resilient, and effective in handling people.
  • Good command of oral and written English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 monthly.
