Job Title: Legal Officer

Job Summary

• As the Legal Officer, you will be responsible for providing legal support to the organization by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, reviewing and drafting contracts, and supporting internal stakeholders with sound legal advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents in line with business objectives
• Provide legal advisory support on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk matters
• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions, memos, and documentation as required
• Support regulatory filings, policy reviews, and internal legal compliance processes

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B); Call to the Nigerian Bar is mandatory
• 2–5 years’ post-call experience, preferably within a financial institution or corporate legal environment
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract management, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 / month
