Job Title: Graduate Assistant Librarian

Description

• This is an entry-level academic role within the University Library, designed for high-achieving graduates looking to build a career in Library and Information Science.

Key Requirements

• Academic: Bachelor of Library Science (BLS) degree from a recognized university.
• Grade: A minimum of Second Class (Upper Division) is generally preferred for academic-track roles.
• Experience: Must possess at least one (1) year of post-qualification cognate experience (this may include experience gained during the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year).
• Skills: Strong digital literacy, familiarity with library automation systems, and excellent research skills.
• General: Applicants must be aged 18 to 50 and possess a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

Salary Grade
RUASS 01. The salary for the position is attractive, negotiable and applicable in the Nigerian University System.
