Job Title: Fund Manager

Location: Lagos

The Role

• We are seeking an experienced Head of Funds Management to lead our investment funds platform and drive product development and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for the Company’s funds management and investment activities.
• Lead the design, approval, and launch of new investment products in line with regulatory requirements and board-approved strategy
• Develop and execute customised wealth and investment management strategies for high-net-worth individuals and institutions.
• Manage client relationships and ensure the highest levels of service and trust.
• Provide insights on market trends, portfolio performance, and investment opportunities.
• Lead and guide a team of Wealth Advisors to achieve business growth targets.
• Develop, manage, and oversee SEC-registered Collective Investment Schemes (CIS) and Client Investment Schemes.
• Collaborate with the Asset Management leadership on product development and business strategy.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Oversee portfolio construction, performance monitoring, and risk management across all funds.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s Degree or MBA is an added advantage).
• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role within asset/fund management and investment management.
• Must be an SEC Sponsored Individual, approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to occupy this role.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian capital markets, SEC regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven track record in strategic leadership, business growth, and stakeholder management.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
