The Jigawa State government is set to recruit about 4,500 teachers in primary and secondary schools in the state to bridge the existing gap within shortest possible time.
The State Governor, Alhaji. Badaru Abubakaj disclosed this when he received the All Nigerian Conference of Principals
(ANCOPS) led by state President, Alhaji Hussaini Abdullahi, who paid him a courtesy call in his office.
He said arrangement had reached advanced stage on the new programmes that would allow the use ICT facilities such as projectors and other teaching aids to help the teachers to effectively impact knowledge to their students at all levels.
