Description

• We are seeking a diligent and dedicated Security Guard to join our esteemed Security and Investigations team. This role is integral to safeguarding our premises, assets, and personnel.
• The ideal candidate will be highly observant, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining safety and security protocols.
• As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for monitoring activities, patrolling designated areas, and responding to incidents with professionalism and a presence that instills confidence.
• You will interact with staff and visitors, ensuring that all entry and exit points are closely monitored and that all security measures are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings and access points for any signs of compromise.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate actions.
• Interact with visitors and staff, providing assistance as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches observed.
• Enforce policies and regulations regarding personnel and property to prevent unauthorized access and disturbances.
• Provide support during emergency situations, following protocols for evacuation or lockdown as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in security training preferred.
• Proven experience as a security guard or similar role in security and investigations.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail to identify potential security risks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to relay information clearly and effectively.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations and emergencies.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures, including emergency response protocols.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for long periods, as well as willingness to work varied shifts.
