Job Summary

• The R&D Officer will play a key role in developing, improving, and ensuring the quality of cosmetic products.
• This role focuses on transforming scientific research into safe, effective, compliant, and market-ready cosmetic products

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new cosmetic products, including skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrances.
• Research new ingredients, technologies, and cosmetic trends to innovate and improve existing products.
• Conduct laboratory testing to assess product safety, stability, and effectiveness.
• Ensure products meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation and support compliance with cosmetic regulations.
• Optimize formulations to reduce production costs without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with marketing, production, and quality control teams.
• Investigate product issues or complaints and provide technical solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc in Science-related discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, or related fields).
• 1–2 years relevant experience in cosmetic formulation, R&D, or laboratory work.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Knowledge of cosmetic formulation and laboratory practices.
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
• Problem-solving and innovation mindset.
• Candidate must be proximate to Sabo, Yaba.

Salary
N150,000 monthly.
