Job Summary

• The Senior Accountant (SAP) is responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal requirements using SAP.
• This role involves supervising junior staff, performing reconciliations, and supporting management with accurate financial data to aid decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee general ledger, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closings in SAP
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, and monitor cash flows
• Post and reconcile adjustment journal entries accurately in SAP
• Support internal and external audits and prepare audit schedules
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in SAP
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Identify and implement process improvements in accounting workflows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience
• Proven experience with SAP (FI/CO modules preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance
