We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bar Manager

Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and responsible Bar Manager to lead our bar operations and deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • The ideal candidate must be passionate about hospitality, highly organized, and able to manage both staff and stock efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the bar.
  • Supervise, train, and schedule bar staff.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service at all times.
  • Manage inventory, stock control, and ordering of beverages.
  • Monitor wastage and prevent stock losses.
  • Create drink menus and introduce new beverages or promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the bar area.
  • Prepare daily and weekly sales reports 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of SSCE/OND (Hospitality-related training is an advantage).
  • 5 - 7 years previous experience in a restaurant or lounge is required.

Other Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bar Supervisor or Bar Manager.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good knowledge of drinks, cocktails, and bar operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of stock control and cost management.
  • Trustworthy and detail-oriented.
