We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • The business development manager will be responsible for spearheading growth initiatives, drive revenue, and establish strategic business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and business objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate key industries
  • Identify, target and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Generate leads by Identifying and targeting potential clients, building a solid pipeline, and converting prospects into long-term customers.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and continued business
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities and potential areas for expansion
  • Prepare compelling proposals, presentations and RFP responses
  • Lead sales presentations, workshops, and negotiations to close deals and finalize partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution post sale
  • Other duties as needed and assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
  • 5+ years industrial experience in business development, sales or related roles
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal relationship, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales target
  • Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
  • Self motivated and results-driven.
