About The Role
- Knight Frank Nigeria is seeking a technically skilled Plant & Machinery Valuer to join our Valuation team. You will be responsible for conducting valuations of industrial plant, machinery, and equipment for clients across diverse sectors.
- This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to produce accurate, compliant valuation reports suitable for financial reporting, insurance, and investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct valuations of industrial plant, machinery, and equipment.
- Inspect assets on-site and assess operational condition and specifications.
- Prepare professional valuation reports in line with IVS, RICS, and regulatory standards.
- Advise clients on asset values, replacement costs, and investment decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and ensure quality control of valuation outputs.
Person Specification
- First Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in plant & machinery valuation or industrial asset appraisal.
- Professional membership (e.g. COREN, NIESV, RICS) advantageous.
- Strong technical, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to inspect and assess industrial and commercial assets.
- Professional, client-focused, and detail-oriented.
