Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a skilled and creative Chef to lead kitchen operations and consistently deliver high-quality meals.
• The ideal candidate should be proficient in preparing Nigerian and continental dishes, demonstrate strong leadership, and maintain excellent standards in food quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present Nigerian and continental dishes in line with established quality standards
• Manage daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and timely service
• Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and discipline
• Maintain strict food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Contribute innovative ideas for menu development and improvement
• Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation
• Oversee inventory management, stock control, and waste reduction
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality environment
• Strong expertise in Nigerian and continental cuisine
• Sound knowledge of kitchen operations and workflow management
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Creativity, attention to detail, and passion for culinary excellence
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
