Job Title: Project Officer (Interior Projects)
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Role Overview
- The Project Officer will be responsible for end-to-end management of interior design and fit-out projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, quality execution, and high client satisfaction.
- The role requires strong technical understanding, stakeholder management skills, and hands-on coordination of artisans and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:
- Manage interior projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and work programs for effective execution.
- Coordinate site activities to ensure seamless delivery across all project phases.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage client expectations, variations, and change requests while maintaining project integrity and cost control.
- Provide regular project updates, reports, and progress reviews to clients and management.
Cost & Budget Management:
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates.
- Monitor project costs, manage budgets, and control expenses to prevent overruns.
- Liaise with procurement and vendors to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials.
Team & Artisan Supervision:
- Supervise, coordinate, and manage artisans, subcontractors, and site workers.
- Ensure workmanship meets design specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations.
- Resolve site issues, conflicts, and execution challenges promptly.
Quality, Risk & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure health, safety, and site discipline standards are consistently upheld.
Requirements & Qualifications
- First Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing interior design/fit-out projects from start to completion.
- Proven experience in BOQ preparation, cost control, and budget management.
- Strong experience managing artisans, subcontractors, and on-site teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations and change requests effectively.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
