Job Title: Legal Associate

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Description

• The Legal Associate will provide legal advice on operational, commercial, ensuring the company minimizes risk while achieving its business goals.
• You will act as the primary custodian of the company's legal health, handling everything from contract negotiations to data privacy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Vendor Contracts, and Partnership Agreements.
• Provide legal opinions to the management team on new business ventures or products.
• Identify potential legal risks in daily operations and propose mitigation strategies
• Manage the registration and protection of the company's trademarks, copyrights, and software licenses.

Qualification and Experience

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with 3-5 years of post call related experience
• Strong understanding of corporate law, labor law and data privacy law
• Tech Savvy
• Commercial Awareness
• Negotiation Skills
• High Attention to Details
