Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, with the ability to handle complex legal matters efficiently.

Job Requirements

• A good academic qualification with at least a second-class upper degree from a recognized university and the Nigerian Law School. Relevant post graduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Must have minimum of 10 years post call experience and 10 years active transactional agreement.
• Must have experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate restructuring
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to service agreements, shareholders agreements, Joint venture agreement, power purchase agreement, share sale and purchase agreement, loan agreement and other types of commercial agreement.
• Excellent drafting skills
• Excellent command of English language
• Excellent writing skills
• Being a Chartered Secretary would be an advantage
• In depth experience in handling commercial transactions, writing opinions etc
• Excellent research skills
• Must be very thorough and diligent
• Must have the ability to work in a team.
• Excellent oral communication skills; ability to speak well and confidently.
