Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Location: Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for implementing and overseeing day-to-day operations that drive the company’s strategy in the Hospital.
  • The COO collaborates with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operations strategy, and hiring, translates strategy into actionable steps for growth, oversees company operations and employee productivity, ensures effective recruiting and retention, and ensures compliance with national and local medical regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, strategy, and operational goals.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans with clear KPIs and timelines.
  • Monitor company performance and recommend improvements aligned with company goals.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (Doctors, Medical Laboratory, staff etc….
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute high-impact projects and initiatives.
  • Develop scalable systems, processes, and policies to ensure operational excellence.
  • Optimize internal processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.

People and Culture:

  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
  • Promote a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead succession planning and talent development across the organization.
  • Align employee engagement and culture with the company’s mission and values.

Risk and Compliance:

  • Ensure Medico legal regulatory compliance across departments & Hospitals
  • Manage organizational risk proactively by implementing robust controls and policies.
  • Develop and maintain crisis management and business continuity plans.
