We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Growth Manager (Fintech)

Location: Lagos

About the Role

  • We’re looking for a Growth Manager to help scale our fintech business across Nigeria and selected African markets.
  • This role is for someone who understands how money actually moves in Africa—from merchant onboarding to pay-ins, payouts, and enterprise integrations—and can turn relationships into revenue.
  • You’ll work closely with product, operations, and leadership to drive merchant acquisition, usage growth, and revenue expansion in a high-velocity environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive B2B growth and merchant acquisition across pay-in and payout products
  • Manage and grow enterprise and SME merchant accounts, ensuring activation and retention
  • Identify new growth channels, partnerships, and market opportunities across African markets
  • Own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, onboarding, and expansion
  • Collaborate with product and ops teams to improve merchant experience and transaction volumes
  • Track performance metrics, revenue growth, and pipeline health
  • Represent the company in partner meetings, industry events, and strategic discussions

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–8 years’ experience in fintech growth, sales, or business development
  • Strong background in B2B fintech sales across multiple African markets
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Pay-ins and payouts
    • Merchant acquiring
    • Enterprise / aggregator partnerships
    • Account management and upselling
  • Proven ability to close deals and scale accounts, not just open conversations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-driven startup environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with PSPs, banks, or aggregators
  • Exposure to cross-border payments or remittances
  • Existing merchant or partner network in Nigeria or other African markets.
