Job Title: Enterprise Solutions Architect

Location: Cotonou, Benin

Job Summary

• The Enterprise Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, validating, and governing end-to-end enterprise technology solutions that support the organization’s business, operational, and digital transformation objectives.
• The role operates within a hybrid infrastructure environment (on-premises, private cloud, public cloud) and ensures architectural alignment with telecommunications-grade availability, security, and scalability requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• • Design end-to-end enterprise solutions across applications, data, integration, and infrastructure layers.
• Translate business and operational requirements into scalable, resilient, and secure solution architectures.
• Produce high-quality architectural artifacts including solution blueprints, logical and physical designs, and reference architectures.
• Architect solutions spanning on-premises infrastructure, private cloud, and public cloud platforms.
• Define workload placement strategies based on latency, security, regulatory, and cost considerations.
• Ensure effective integration between legacy telco platforms and modern cloud-native services.
• Apply TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture frameworks to solution design and governance.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, technology roadmaps, and design principles.
• Participate in architecture review boards and provide design assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Design application architectures that support OSS/BSS, network systems, digital channels, and enterprise platforms.
• Define API, middleware, and integration patterns suitable for telecom-scale systems.
• Ensure interoperability across heterogeneous platforms and vendors.
• Work closely with product owners, engineering teams, network teams, vendors, and system integrators.
• Provide architectural guidance during solution implementation, migration, and optimization phases.
• Support RFP responses, vendor evaluations, and technical due diligence.
• Embed security-by-design, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance requirements into architectures.
• Ensure compliance with telecommunications regulatory, data protection, and security standards.
• Design for carrier-grade reliability and scalability.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 7 - 10 years’ experience in IT, with 5+ years in enterprise or solutions architecture roles.
• TOGAF Certification
• Cloud Architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Enterprise or Solution Architecture certifications
• Proven experience designing solutions in hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Experience within a telecommunications or large-scale enterprise environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience producing formal architectural documentation and models.
