About the Role
- As an Inbound Sales Analyst at Kora, you will be responsible for onboarding merchants, expanding our clientele, and identifying new opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability,and help our business grow.
- We are looking for a talented and competitive inbound sales representative who thrives in a fast-paced sales cycle environment. You will also be responsible for identifying new business prospects and selling our products to them.
- In this role, you will maintain relationships with current clients and build and maintain relationships with new clients.
- Hence, we seek a tenacious and vibrant salesperson who is self-motivated and has the passion to sell as well as to grow a career in sales in the payments industry.
Responsibilities
Here are a couple of things you'll be doing:
- Daily review of all inbound leads.
- Engaging inbound leads through phone calls, emails and other communication channels.
- Following up with compliance for the review of merchants’ KYC documents.
- Onboarding 80% of qualified inbound leads.
- Work with other teammates in the sales team to ensure organizational growth.
- Work closely with the Product, Merchant Success, and Operations teams.
Requirements
Here's what we are looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Telesales agent, Business Development Associate, Sales analyst, or similar role experience in a fast-paced B2B payment infrastructure environment, financial services, or banking industry.
- Experience in upselling to existing customers.
- Proven inside sales experience.
- Track record of over-achieving quota.
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients and an ability to influence stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Finally, someone with the ability to sell water to a drowning man!
