Job Title: Sales Operations Manager

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • As a Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s sales processes within the manufacturing and construction sector.
  • You will support the sales team by streamlining operations, analyzing performance metrics, improving customer engagement strategies, and ensuring the execution of sales initiatives that drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage efficient sales processes to support the achievement of business goals.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the sales and project teams to ensure accurate pricing, proposal preparation, and contract execution.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the finance and operations teams to ensure alignment between sales, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of the sales team to drive productivity and high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership in developing customer engagement strategies, ensuring timely follow-ups, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Drive continuous process improvement by identifying gaps, implementing tools, and adopting best practices in sales operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales operations, preferably within the construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction/manufacturing sales cycles, project bidding, and contract management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools; ERP knowledge is a plus.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
  • Goal-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Salary
N500,000 / month.
