Skipper Eye-Q Super Speciality Eye hospital is an International Eye Hospital chain with the presence of 30 in India and 4 in Nigeria handling all types of Eye Surgeries such as Cataract, Retina, Glaucoma, presbyopia, cornea, squint, refractive error and other vision problems and having treated 10+ Million patients. Our patients get same treatment in Nigeria as in US, UK and India. We are 18 Years in Eye Care and HMO Empanelled Hospitals.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hospital Manager / Floor Coordinator

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • To lead and supervise in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operations of the hospital to ensure smooth functioning and optimal resource utilization.
  • Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with department heads, including nursing, clinical services, facilities management, and support services, to coordinate activities, resolve operational issues, and promote interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • Patient Flow Management: Oversee patient flow processes, bed management, and patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to optimize capacity, minimize wait times, and enhance the patient experience. *Emergency Response and Crisis Management:
  • Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans, disaster preparedness protocols, and crisis management procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors during critical situations.
  • Staff Development and Training: Support the training and development initiatives for hospital staff, including orientation programs, continuing education, and skill enhancement workshops, to promote professional growth, competence, and teamwork.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Foster a culture of patient-centered care, empathy, and compassion among staff members by promoting service excellence, addressing patient feedback, and resolving service-related issues in a timely and responsive manner. ''
  • Technology Integration and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for leveraging technology solutions, automation, and best practices to streamline workflows, reduce administrative burdens, and enhance operational effectiveness in hospital operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setup in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations effectively.
  • Proficiency in hospital management software and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in an eye hospital or ophthalmology setup is a plus.
  • Leadership qualities with problem-solving abilities.
  • Patient-centric approach with a focus on service excellence.
