About the Job
Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets in the Northern Nigeria region.
- Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities in the LNG and Gas sectors.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
Market Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the region.
- Expand Greenville LNG's market presence by identifying and penetrating new markets within the region.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively to maintain long-term relationships.
- Work closely with the customer service and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery and support.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analyses to management.
- Track and report on sales metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to meet evolving market conditions.
- Use CRM tools to manage customer data and sales activities, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the marketing, Project, operations, Logistics and finance teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Provide input and insights into product development based on customer feedback and market demands.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing best practices and supporting team goals.
Qualifications
Interested candidates should possess:
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or related fields. Qualified candidate should also have an MBA in Marketing or Business-related fields.
- At least 15 years' work experience in sales role in Oil and Gas industry including LNG, CNG, and LPG, with a deep understanding of the local market dynamics.
- Highly motivated individual who is familiar with the geographical and industry landscape of Northern Nigeria and is eager to take on a target-based sales role.
- Very good sales and business development experience in petroleum products and gas sales especially in Northern Nigeria.
- Very strong and exceptional business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
