Job Title: Software/Web Developer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Work in a collaborative environment, and with software project management team to develop windows, web, cloud and mobile (Android/IOS) applications that interact with middle tier data and business services in .Net using C#, Java and JavaScript based frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and understand software requirements specifications and conceptual/physical system models as presented by Software Architect/Design team and develop software components, including business objects and services as well as intuitive modern user interface on the target platforms.
- Provide technical documentation on software component implementation
- Provide technical support to software implementation engineers, including diagnosis and resolution of system failures and malfunctions, specifications of target platform requirements, development and delivery of corrective measures.
- Development of test data for the quality assurance test, system capacity and stress simulation of software systems prior to delivery, under varying use cases.
- Occasional delivery of software on client sites. And other responsibilities given as the need arises.
Skill Requirements
- Proficiency in C#.net, and/or Java programming language.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and DBMS data access (MySQL or Oracle or MS SQL Server)
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS3 and HTML5
- Knowledge of mobile development frameworks and IDEs.
Skills Development
- Prevalent has a rich library of books for personal training and skill development.
- Also, a knowledge sharing and training sessions are held in-house at regular intervals to bring the development team up to date with skills required to enhance individual capacity and knowledge base.
