Job Title: Senior Flutter Mobile Developer

Location: Lagos (Remote)

Description

• The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering seamless user experiences while ensuring compliance, security, and reliability across Android and iOS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications (Android & iOS) using Flutter.
• Actively participating in functional and technical analysis of product requirements.
• Translating functional specifications and UX/UI designs into high-quality, maintainable Flutter components.
• Integrating mobile applications with backend APIs (REST / JSON).
• Ensuring code quality by:
  • Applying best practices (Clean Code, SOLID principles).
  • Writing unit tests and integration tests.
  • Optimizing mobile application performance, security, and stability.
  • Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers.

Working closely with:

• The CTO
• Backend Engineering teams
• Product Owner / Scrum Master
• QA team
• Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews,
• Retrospectives).
• Contributing to application releases (Google Play Store, Apple App Store).

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (BSc / MSc) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5 - 7+ years of proven professional experience in mobile application development.
• Strong expertise in Flutter and Dart in production environments.
• Proven experience publishing mobile applications on both Android and iOS.
• Solid understanding of mobile architectures (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Strong teamwork skills, proactive mindset, and technical leadership abilities.

Key Technical Skills:

• Flutter & Dart (advanced level).
• RESTful API / JSON integration.
• State management (Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or equivalent).
• Firebase services (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics – a plus).
• Git / GitFlow.
• Mobile CI/CD pipelines (nice to have).
• Mobile security fundamentals and FinTech best practices.
• Personal Qualities:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong focus on quality, performance, and user experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
