Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager

Job Summary

  • Our client is recruiting a highly driven and experienced Assistant Sales Manager to support sales growth, revenue generation, and market expansion for a fast-growing consumer-focused organization.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with senior sales leadership to drive sales strategy execution, manage key accounts, lead sales teams, and oversee day-to-day sales operations.
  • This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in achieving sales targets, building customer relationships, and executing strategic sales plans in a competitive market.
  • Ultimately, you will help strengthen market presence, improve sales performance, and contribute significantly to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the achievement of sales targets by driving revenue growth, market penetration, and customer acquisition across assigned territories.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to ensure alignment with sales objectives and performance expectations.
  • Develop and execute sales plans, budgets, forecasts, and market strategies in line with organizational goals.
  • Manage prospecting, customer onboarding, account management, and relationship building across all customer segments.
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports while maintaining CRM systems and coordinating sales-related supply chain activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a sales leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales automation tools, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify market opportunities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for sales operations within and outside Lagos when required.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • MBA or additional sales-related certifications is an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of local languages is an added advantage.

Salary
N500,000 - N600,000 monthly.
