Job Description
- The SME Relationship Manager is responsible for building, managing, and sustaining strong relationships with Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) clients.
- The role focuses on understanding client needs, providing tailored financial solutions, driving business growth, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- The SME Relationship Manager will also be accountable for portfolio growth, risk management, and cross-selling bank products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with existing and prospective SME clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for SME clients, ensuring timely resolution of queries and concerns.
- Conduct regular client visits and relationship reviews to assess financial needs and propose suitable banking solutions.
- Identify, acquire, and onboard new SME clients to grow the bank’s SME portfolio.
- Proactively explore opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell financial products (e.g., loans, trade finance, deposits, treasury products, digital solutions).
- Conduct credit analysis and prepare credit proposals in line with the bank’s risk appetite and lending policies.
- Client Relationship Management
- Ensure timely renewal of credit facilities and compliance with regulatory and internal credit requirements.
- Achieve assigned revenue, deposit, and loan growth targets.
Person Specifications
- NCE/ND, HND, B.Sc.
- 2-3 years in sales and business development within a financial institution.
Annual Net Remuneration
Competitive & Negotiable.
