Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Location: Lekki, Lagos 
Employment Type: Contract
Reports To: Head Cook / Kitchen Supervisor
Accomadation: Available

Job Summary

• The Kitchen Assistant supports the kitchen team by helping with food preparation, cleaning, dishwashing, and maintaining hygiene standards.
• The ideal candidate must be hardworking, fast, neat, and able to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the cook/chef with basic food preparation (washing, cutting, peeling, etc.)
• Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas
• Wash plates, pots, and kitchen tools as required
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized at all times
• Support in arranging ingredients and kitchen supplies
• Assist with packaging and serving food when needed
• Help with receiving and storing kitchen supplies properly
• Dispose waste properly and maintain cleanliness around the kitchen area
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Carry out any other kitchen-related tasks assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen is an advantage (but not compulsory)
• Must be neat, hardworking, and responsible
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask
• Good hygiene and cleanliness habits
• Must be available to resume immediately (if applicable)
• Ability to work flexible shifts (including weekends).

Salary
N70,000 / month.
