Job Title: Van Sales Representative / Driver

Location: Berger, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Van Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales targets by actively distributing company products to retail outlets within assigned routes.
  • This role involves driving a company van, managing stock, developing strong customer relationships, executing merchandising standards, and ensuring effective coverage of retail points to maximize availability, visibility, and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Meet or exceed assigned weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
  • Execute direct selling activities to existing and new customers.
  • Conduct route planning and coverage to ensure all assigned outlets are effectively served.
  • Identify sales opportunities and expand distribution to new outlets.

Experience

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with work experience.

Customer Relationship & Service:

  • Build strong rapport with store owners, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and updated customer records.

Merchandising & Branding:

  • Ensure product placement follows company merchandising standards.
  • Maintain clean shelves, update price tags, and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Execute promotional activities and trade marketing initiatives. Stock & Cash Management
  • Manage daily van stock, ensure proper recordkeeping of stock sold and returned.
  • Collect payments and deposit remittances as per company's financial procedures.
  • Conduct end-of-day reconciliation and reporting.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Submit sales reports, route activity logs, and customer feedback.
  • Operate the sales van in compliance with safety, traffic, and company regulations.
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
