Job Summary

• The Business Development Manager will support the Area Manager in driving market growth through prospecting, sales, and customer relationship management.
• The role involves developing new markets, achieving commercial targets, supervising stock and supply chain activities, and promoting products in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Support existing business operations and progressively manage independent commercial goals.
• Prospect and develop new markets while maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Achieve sales and commercial objectives in line with the Area Manager’s strategy.
• Supervise stock levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Gather market intelligence and support market development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, International Trade, or a related field.
• Mandatory background in chemical distribution or chemical supply chain.
• Specific knowledge of cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and detergents is a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience; age 30+.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Proactive, flexible, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
