Job Title: Service Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • This role is ideal for a highly organized and proactive professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate technical teams and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily scheduling, dispatch, and execution of service tasks
  • Supervise staff and ensure compliance with HSE and company regulations
  • Optimize resource allocation (personnel, tools, equipment)
  • Review reports including FSRs, warranty claims, attendance sheets, and petty cash
  • Track quotations, orders, invoices, and related documents
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for customers and maintain strong communication
  • Audit inventory, supervise spare parts ordering/dispatch, and validate stock reports
  • Oversee documentation, HR support, and compliance with policies and safety standards
  • Prepare weekly updates and monthly KPI reports
  • Support financial planning, budgeting, and timely processing of invoices
  • Promote a strong safety culture through regular briefings and enforcement of HSE practices
  • Recommend improvements to workflows, processes, and data management

Qualifications

  • BSc in Business Administration or B.Eng in any Engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar role and 3+ years in a supervisory/team lead position
  • Basic technical understanding (hydraulics, electrical, mechanical)
  • Proven experience managing administrative and technical teams
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in service management software and MS Office 365
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Valid Nigerian driver’s license.
