We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer

Location: Lagos

Major Responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality checks on pharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Perform product testing and assessments to verify quality, safety, and consistency.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive QA documentation, including inspection reports, batch records, and testing results.
• Participate in the development, review, and implementation of quality assurance procedures, policies, and protocols.
• Collaborate with the production and quality control teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Identify and investigate deviations, non-conformances, or product defects, and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor quality performance at all stages of the production process and recommend improvements.
• Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and validation activities.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all operations.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific field

Other Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance or Quality Control Officer, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• In-depth understanding of GMP, QA/QC principles, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining product quality and promoting workplace safety.
