We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chef

Location:  Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist in planning and creating menus, including daily specials, while ensuring variety, creativity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely service during peak hours.
  • Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure consistent supply of fresh ingredients.
  • Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff in cooking techniques, safety procedures, and workstation organization.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas, equipment, and storage facilities.
  • Ensure portion control, reduce food waste, and support cost management.
  • Collaborate with management to continually improve food quality, menu offerings, and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management or supervisors.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 4-7 years experience
  • Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or in a similar culinary role.
  • Culinary certification or relevant training is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and cuisines.
  • Excellent time management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for food.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
