Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Summary

  • Our client, a mortgage bank, is seeking an experienced and highly competent Finance Manager to oversee all its financial operations.
  • The Finance Manager will be responsible for responsible for overseeing the financial planning, managing the financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic guidance on investment and budgeting.
  • The Finance Manager will work directly with the Head, Financial Services.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management, board, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure tax compliance and timely submission of statutory filings (e.g., VAT, PAYE, corporate tax).
  • Oversee Business Development & Financial Innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., CBN, SEC, IFRS, FIRS).
  • Provide financial insights and data to support leadership decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from a reputable institution.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant working experience in finance, (Banking Sector experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, risk assessment, and investment strategies.
  • Expertise in financial regulations, compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Salary
N8,000,000 - N10,000,000 / annually.
