Description
- We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Corporate Lawyer to join our real estate firm in Ilorin.
- The ideal candidate will support legal compliance, documentation, transactions, and risk management across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, MOUs, deeds, and property-related legal documents
- Provide legal advisory on real estate transactions, compliance, and regulatory matters
- Conduct due diligence and title verification on properties
- Liaise with external counsel, government agencies, and regulatory bodies
- Support dispute resolution, litigation matters, and risk mitigation
- Ensure company operations comply with applicable laws and regulations
Requirements
- LL.B and BL; must be called to the Nigerian Bar and posses a legal seal
- 2–5 years post-call experience, preferably in real estate or corporate law
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of property law, land use act, and regulatory frameworks
- High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
